How NeuroMe began
NeuroMe was born out of the group company, Neurodiversity Support, which has been dedicated to working with neurodivergent individuals since 2020. Our mission at Neurodiversity Support has always been to help neurodivergents thrive and reach their full potential within a predominantly neurotypical world, whether that be academically, in the workforce or just as a neurodivergent parent trying to be their best.
At Neurodiversity Support, we focus on providing therapy and support to children enrolled in mainstream schools. We recognised the immense challenges they faced in such environments and strived to help them navigate and survive these extreme conditions created by a neurotypically-designed world. However, it became clear that a more holistic and tailored approach was necessary—a solution that not only addressed the immediate struggles but also nurtured their unique abilities and potential.
This realisation led to the creation of NeuroMe, an innovative programme designed to meet the specific needs of neurodivergent learners. NeuroMe emerged as a solution to the very problems we were addressing through therapy. It combines the expertise of therapists and neurodiversity specialists from Neurodiversity Support and beyond, resulting in a unique and comprehensive curriculum that celebrates and harnesses the incredible minds of neurodivergent individuals.
Our dedicated team has crafted a curriculum that merges neurodiversity and education, providing a supportive and enriching learning experience. At NeuroMe, we are committed to empowering neurodivergent learners, ensuring they not only survive but thrive in their educational journey and beyond.

The origins of our name
NeuroMe, our name, is a reflection of our core philosophy. “Neuro” signifies the intricate workings of the brain, while “Me” speaks to the essence of oneself. We firmly believe that being neurodivergent is not a disorder or deficiency, but rather a unique and valuable aspect of one’s identity. Neurodiversity is a source of pride, not something to be concealed or apologised for. We celebrate the fact that each of us is perfectly wired and we embrace the beautiful diversity of human minds. Being proudly neurodivergent means recognising that we don’t conform to a standard norm, but rather, we celebrate the distinctiveness that makes each of us who we are. At NeuroMe, we champion this celebration of neurodiversity and work tirelessly to provide the support and resources that allow individuals to thrive as their authentic selves.

Our Founder
Anika Adams, the founder of NeuroMe, is a neurodivergent individual herself, and her journey in establishing this home schooling programme was ignited by a profound realisation. Anika observed that neurodivergent children were often deprived of the true inclusivity and accommodations they required, which not only hindered their education but also left a lasting impact on their self-image and confidence. Witnessing these young minds burdened by judgments and a sense of not fitting into the conventional mould deeply troubled her, especially drawing on her own struggles as a misunderstood neurodivergent.
Anika shared, “I hated seeing children so overcome with judgments and feelings of not fitting the mould that they completely lost sight of their amazing and indescribable potential.”
She recognised the need for a space where neurodivergent children could feel appreciated, celebrated, and prioritised. For Anika, every environment meant for a child should be tailored to them, not the other way around. This sentiment fuelled the birth of NeuroMe, a place where neurodivergent children are told, unequivocally, that they matter and are perfect just as they are. Anika’s personal journey and commitment to this cause have driven the creation of a supportive and empowering haven for neurodivergent learners.
