By enrolling your child(ren) in NeuroMe, you agree to the following Billing Terms and Conditions:
1. Placement Fee
- A R500 placement fee per child is required during the enrolment process.
- This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and covers processing, pre-onboarding, record verification, and technology licensing.
- The placement fee is not deductible from tuition fees.
- Proof of payment must be uploaded during the enrolment process.

2. Mid-Year/Mid-Term Enrolment and Catch-Up Clause
If a child is enrolled mid-year or mid-term, parents must select one of the following options:
- Option 1: Full Academic Year Catch-Up – The child will receive the entire year’s curriculum and must complete all missed work.
- Option 2: Current Term Catch-Up – The child will catch up only on the current term’s work.
Catch-Up Fees: Payment for the selected catch-up option is due immediately. Access to the curriculum may be delayed if payment is not received.
3. Payment Options
Parents may choose from the following payment plans:
- Annual Payment: One instalment for the year (7% tuition discount), payable in advance.
- Quarterly Payment: Four instalments (4% tuition discount), payable in advance.
- Monthly Payment: 12 instalments via debit order (no discount), billed monthly.
Sibling Discount: A 5% discount applies if three or more children are enrolled. Full names of all enrolled children must be provided at registration.
4. Payment Terms and Invoicing
- Payments are due by the 1st working day of the month.
- Monthly payments not received by the 7th will incur 15% interest on the overdue amount.
- After 2 months of non-payment, the learner’s profile will be suspended, and a late fee will be added.
- If payment remains outstanding, reports will be withheld, and services will be terminated.
Non-Payment Outcome:
- Suspension of access to Google Classroom, learning materials, and related systems.
- Continued non-payment will lead to termination of enrolment.
5. Parent Liability
- Parents/guardians are jointly and severally liable for all fees, regardless of marital status.
- In cases of non-payment, NeuroMe may pursue legal action, and all collection costs, including legal fees, will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians.
6. Refund Policy
- Non-Refundable Fees: Placement fees, annual payments, quarterly payments, SACAI registration fees, and catch-up fees.
- Mid-Term Withdrawal: No refunds will be issued for unused months, terms, or services already rendered.
Learners paying annually or quarterly who leave mid-year are not eligible for refunds.
7. SACAI Registration and Concessions
- SACAI registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- SACAI fees must be paid by 31 March. Failure to pay by this deadline will result in immediate deregistration from NeuroMe.
- SACAI concession application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and do not guarantee approval of the application.
- Additional SACAI concession costs for matric learners will be charged to parents.
Parents opting to pay Matric SACAI fees over Grades 10 and 11 will have funds stored interest-free by NeuroMe. If the learner withdraws during this period, the prepaid amount will be refunded.
8. Missed Sessions for Option 2 and 3 Learners
- Sessions missed without prior notice to the NeuroChamp or tutor will still be billed.
- Missed sessions cannot be carried over or reimbursed.
9. Payment Plan Changes
- Parents wishing to change their payment plan must provide a 30-day written notice to NeuroMe’s accounts department.
- Changes will only take effect at the start of a new term or academic year.
10. Termination of Enrolment
- A one calendar month’s written notice is required for termination.
- Fees for the month of termination are payable in full.
- Parents on annual or quarterly plans will not receive refunds for unused months.
Upon termination, ownership of the learner’s portfolio will be transferred to the parents.
11. Data Privacy and Confidentiality
- NeuroMe ensures that personal and financial information will not be shared with third parties except for legal or billing purposes.
- All financial transactions are secure and compliant with applicable data protection laws.
12. General Terms
- NeuroMe reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Parents will be notified in writing of any changes.
- NeuroMe may adjust debit orders in case of fee increases, with prior written notice.
- Outstanding instalments may incur an interest charge of 15% per month.
By enrolling your child(ren) in NeuroMe, you acknowledge and accept these terms as binding.
