What you need to begin?
- Make sure you have registered to use the Invigilator App and successfully setup your Invigilator App profile
- Your Desktop (with Invigilator App logged in and your Google classroom)
- Your cell-phone (with Invigilator App downloaded and logged in)
- Blue pen and paper to write on
- Answer book printed (available in the ionHub)
- Cover page printed
- Learner declaration printed
- ONLY IF APPLICABLE: SACAI letter of approved accommodation printed (if you do not have this DO NOT use accommodations)
- Back-up WiFi and battery (technological difficulties do not qualify for second opportunity)
How to open your Knowledge Challenge paper?
You will need:
- Your Desktop (with Invigilator App logged in and your Google classroom)
Step 1: Log into your subject’s Google Classroom and navigate to the Knowledge Challenge’s post
Step 2: Open the submission form to find the Invigilator App’s code:
Step 3: Copy that code and paste it into Invigilator App
How to start your assessment?
Step 1: Once you paste the code into Invigilator App, when you press “START ASSESSMENT” you will officially begin your assessment
Step 2: Access your Knowledge Challenges by clicking on the yellow button on the top-right “ACCESS LMS” and it will automatically open the Knowledge Challenge Question paper
DO NOT CLOSE YOUR INVIGILATOR APP- if you receive an “irregulrity” you willl receive 0% for the assessment without exception
How to answer your Knowledge Challenge?
- Fill in your cover page (the examination centre can be left out- that is only applicable for matric finals)
- Fill in and sign your learner declaration
- Use your blue pen and answer in your answer book
How to upload your Knowledge Challenge
Step 1: Navigate to your Invigilator App on your desktop and click on “FINISH ASSESSMENT”
Then confirm
Step 2: Click “Continue” and get your cellphone ready to scan your assessment
Step 3 Use your cellphone to scan the code on your desktop
Step 2: Scan in your Script with Cover page, Learner declaration and answer book (You have 10 minutes to complete this process)
MAKE SURE it is in portrait view, pages are in order and image is clear.
Click on the yellow “+” to add your pages
Step 3: Save and upload your script as a PDF by clicking “SAVE AS PDF”
Double-check:
- the pages are in PORTRAIT view
- letter are CLEAR and legible (if we cannot read it we cannot mark it)
- pages are in order and numbered correctly
Step 4: Save your evidence that you uploaded your assessment (without this you have no proof that you completed this Knowledge Challenge)
Save your reference code and your PDF of your assessment
Step 5: Upload your assessment to the Knowledge Challenge’s submission form in the classroom by uploading your reference code
- Make sure you put the reference code in correctly
- Upload your PDF from the Invigilator named correctly (Knowledge Challenge name/Grade/Learner’s name)

What if there is an error in the Knowledge Challenge?
All our exam and assessments come from SACAI, if there is an error, the learner should answer all questions as best as they can and issues will be resolved by us AFTER the knowledge Challenege
NeuroMe conducts 4 rounds of moderation on all our assessments and we will rectify all irregularities AFTER the knowledge challenges. When moderation takes place the post moderation of the assessments will identify any errors in the assessments and the learner’s marks will be adjusted accordingly for all learners
